The Slow Coast started with a simple observation: the best land on the Oaxaca coast never gets listed — it gets passed between friends. We're the friends. And we'd rather sell you land the way we'd buy it ourselves.
The Story
From owning a lot in Mazunte to curating the coast.
We bought our own land in Mazunte years ago, learned the legal landscape the hard way, and watched the coast change from the inside. The Slow Coast is what we wished existed when we were buying: honest listings, straight answers, and zero pressure.
We're based on the coast, we know the owners, the brokers, and the notarios by name, and we'd rather turn away a bad deal than collect a commission on it.
The Promise
Three things we will never do.
No hidden prices
Every lot is listed with its real price in USD. If we don't know the price, we don't list it.
No soft-pedalled titles
Escritura, acta, ejido — we name it, explain it, and let you decide with your eyes open.
No touching your money
Closings run through licensed brokers and notarios. We curate and advise; we never hold funds.
